To get better at pvping your class you must do several things. The first thing is to master at your own class and there is only one way of doing that - play it like you mean it. Log countless battles until you know every technique that your class can do.
When you feel experienced ehough with your class it is time to study! Boring but oh so usefull. Knowing your enemies tricks better than they do is key to winning. When faced with a Shaman that is familiar with all of your abilities it gets down to who can counter the other player best.
In raids you do well be very familiar with your class to the fullest but also what and the reason why the other classes are doing what they are doing. Listening to your class leader and most of all asking your class leader questions is a easy way of getting to know your class to the fullest.
Highly important in raiding is communication and if you master that as a person you will quickly advance in your guild ranks.
